As of September 1, 2025, the Building Code Enforcement Plan Review team in City of Houston has simplified the resubmittal process. 

For responding to City of Houston comments in general, the applicant is no longer required to provide a written narrative in the applicant response folder as long as an adequate response is provided for each comment in the applicant resubmit task.
